Hidden in the hills right outside of Birmingham, Alabama, the Windwood Equestrian is a stunning wedding venue. Peaceful and secluded, their outdoor courtyard is the perfect space for a ceremony. With every detail perfectly planned and executed by Heather Benge and Alexia Woolum, the Windwood was the most beautiful backdrop for Olivia and Drew.
ROMANTIC AND FEMININE WEDDING COLOR PALETTE
With a soft pink and purple color palette, the ceremony space was adorned with beautiful blooms. Olivia and Drew were surrounded by roses, hydrangeas, ranunculus in different shades of white, pink, and purple. How amazing is the fireplace floral feature?! All florals are designed by Cece’s Designs, who is incredibly talented. Olivia and Drew are so genuinely in love that it is easy to capture their love for one another.
ENCHANTED GARDEN PARTY DETAILS
The exquisite floral centerpieces are only one of the details that made this an enchanted outdoor garden party. Linens and table rentals by Tea and Old Roses and Event Words Rentals, as well as stationery by Eros Stationery give the table setup a vintage and elegant look. The cake by Cakes by Kim is a work of art in itself. A square design, the cake layers are separated by beautiful acrylic. It looked almost too good to eat! My favorite feature was the tea cart. Filled with classic vintage teacups, it was the perfect touch.
SUNSET WEDDING PORTRAITS AT WINDWOOD EQUESTRIAN
For sunset portraits, we headed out to the pastures in the rolling hills of the Windwood. As you walk through the property, you are struck by how serene and meticulously maintained it is. The sun sets right behind the trees that enclose the property and it is the most beautiful spot for sunset wedding photos. There, Olivia and Drew had two special guests-mini ponies Honey and Phoenix. It was truly an incredible day for this special couple!

Le quartier de Guéliz est devenu un point de rendez-vous assez populaire pour sortir à Marrakech, surtout pour ceux qui aiment les lieux contemporains. En parcourant différentes recommandations, j’ai vu passer un restaurant au cœur de gueliz qui revenait souvent dans les discussions. Ce qui m’a interpellé, c’est surtout la manière dont certains établissements cherchent à proposer une expérience différente dans un quartier déjà très animé. Cela montre à quel point la scène culinaire locale évolue.
